You can enjoy this small attraction in about 15 minutes. Really nice statue of Buddy Holly in front of a wall of plaques. Don't forget the tree dedicated to Sir Paul McCartney at the entrance. Located across Crickets Sreet from the museum.

Located just across the street from the Buddy Holly Center the statue is an iconof Lubbock, where Holly grew up and began his brief career. I was surprised at all the names on the wall of famous folk from West Texas! Also, didnt know Mac Davis was from Lubbock...he's on the wall too!

The wall is very nicely done and eye-opening for anyone not from the panhandle or familiar with Texas music. Definitely worth the time to stop by and visit.

So glad it go moved to an easier place to visit. Of course everyone wants their picture with Buddy but it show the great number of musicians that we have from this local area. Don't miss it. Stop past anytime when you are in the area to visit.

Great memorial statue of Buddy Holly. The statue is right across from the Buddy Holly center and great to visit when you're in Lubbock.

Nice little 15 minute stop while passing through Lubbock on our way to Amarillo. We couldn't pass through Buddy Holly's home without stopping to see the Statue and Wall of Fame! Nicely maintained plaza. This is just a small detour from interstate and worth it. We have instilled a love for all music and all genres of music with our... More

The Buddy Holly Center a wonderful memory review. It has a variety of Buddies memorabilia from early childhood up until his ending. We learned that other well know celebrities learned trade data from Buddy. The Center includes time lines of his productions, instruments, motorcycle, a film, plus a visit to the drummers house. Very Nice!!

This is a fun & historical stop. A fun attraction that allows for further exploring in the depot district. During the summers it is a Yogi attraction with Yoga in the Park!! What a great time. Way to go Lubbock! Love the community and art we are beginning to experience and share!!!
