Located riverside, lots of activities held there. My favorite are the Moonlight Musicals held June, July, and August on Fri. and Sat. evenings. Prices very reasonable for great family entertainment. Lots of talent in Lubbock. Call 770-2000 for more details

We only visited the prairie dogs, our Granddaughter loves feeding them. There were a lot of babies this year, which was a wonderful surprise. It's worth taking time to go see them if you haven't done so before.

Mackenzie park is a large park and has municipal golf courses, amusement park, good jogging/riding areas and very nice amphitheater. There are also a couple of museums on the perimeter and easy access from anywhere in town.

I had a lot of fun feeding these guys and taking pictures of them. They are the meerkats of America. I look forward to seeing them next time I visit.

Awesome disc golf course with both easy and challenging holes. Many opportunities to both lose and keep discs! Nice playgrounds with swings and other creative things to play on for little ones.
