Don't know who submitted this photo bit it is not of Ft McIntosh. Ft. McIntosh is now home of Laredo Community College and the old buildings of the Fort are constantly being upgrade and or maintained.

So ona request from hotel staff for things to do, we went to Fort McIntosh and Laredo Community College. We went to the environmental center and got to see some live animals that are native to Texas. Like a miniature zoo, for 4 dollars it was worth it. We also got to walk a nature trail to a view of... More

Old Frontier Fort. Now the remaining buildings are on the campus of Laredo Community College. For anyone interested in wildlife, the Lamar Bruni Vergara Environmental Science Center has some animals on exhibit, plus there are trails where you may find some of the birds native to the Tamaulipan Scrub.
