GREAT... the "LAST" surviving ship that has been in 2 world wars. Fantastic old ship that need our help to keep it from being lost to history. We had a great time, in and out, up and down and all over the ship.

Visited during a weekend in Houston with my husband who is a History lover and a couple of friends. We had an incredible fun going up the stairs on the ship and going down to discover the life of the crew. Knowing this ship has survived world war 1 and 2 made it more fascinating. Really worth the price of... More

This is a must visit for anyone who enjoys naval history, maritime history, World War I or World War II history, US history or Texas history. You can explore much of the ship, and really get a feel for what life was like on this ship out at sea. Along the way, you learn about it's long history and the... More

So exciting to view all the aspects of life on a battle ship & imagine the frantic pace during actual combat. This was a flagship at D Day and we will not see the like again.

An impressive war machine, even after more than 100 years since it was built. Not many left you can visit. A must for history buffs.

Touring this battleship is a remarkable place to visit for young and old alike. There is so much history to view and it is so inspiring. However, this is not a place to tour for folks who have trouble walking up and down stairs. This might be a challenge for the elderly. But children will absolutely love touring this ship.... More

What a great day out with my son climbing around the Battleship Texas! Wasn't quite so much fun for my retired friend but he got about fairly well as he wasn't hurried or pressured to speed up at all. Amazing how large the ship is inside although with more than one thousand people on board I would not be sure... More

Honestly, I am not very into history; especially something relates to war. When I planned to go there, I only wanted to take a look and was uncertain if I would go up the battleship to take a tour. I went there in July, so it was super hot. After we arrived, we went to gift shop to check if... More
