We happened to be in town when a furniture show was taking place and got to see some amazing woodwork. We are putting this on our calendar and hope to go back for the next show.

I remember when this building was the Post Office (my goodness, have I been here that long?). Turning it into the KACC was a stroke of genius! There are revolving exhibits throughout the year but the must-sees are the Gourd Art and the hand made furniture, which are yearly events. These shows feature the best of the best; if you... More

Always fun to go to an event here. The art exhibits are always top notch. We especially enjoy the outdoor painters event, and try to go every year.

If your u are in Kerrville and love the arts...all kinds, then yes u need to make a stop here. Quite fascinating, with all different mediums. It is located in downtown Kerrville, across from the courthouse...go take a look at the new butterfly garden while you're there!

This museum is a great place to spend a short amount of time. Local art is on display and there is a wonderful gift shop with good prices. All items are made by local artists. There are a few steps to go up to enter museum. No handicap ramp. I would definitely go here again.

Thank you for your nice review. We do have a ramp for those who cannot use steps. It is at the side entrance off our parking lot. There is a directional sign at the front entrance. More

I visit the Kerr Arts and Cultural Center 5-6 times a year to view the wide range of fine art and craft exhibits that are featured throughout the year in a well lit and expansive gallery space. The variety includes, traditional exhibits of paintings, drawing, sculpture and photography as well as hand made furniture, wood turning, an invitational gourd art... More

This art center has changing shows. The gourd show and the furniture show are amazing, but all the art work shows are great - the fabric shows, the children's art show, the photography show and all the painters. They have outstanding artists whatever the medium. Highly recommended.

The Hill Country Camera Club is holding its Photo Quest 2016 Exhibition this month. There are some amazing photos. My husband and I enjoyed our visit very much. I intend to go back with some friends. I am certain that I did not take it all in on our visit. There is a secondary exhibit of quilt art as well.... More

No matter what is on display the visit is enjoyable and informative. The gift shop with all the items from local artists is as good as the gallery. I enjoy taking friends and family here when they visit.
