Six days before leaving for Jefferson, I started trying to buy tickets. One web site said to leave a voice mail or text. I did both but got no response. When we got to Jefferson, I noticed a sign saying that the office would be...More

Visited for the Jefferson Civil War Days event. On the Saturday we had attended a battle reenactment on the grounds, which was an average event. On the Sunday we took the train, and the reenactors manned guns on a front wagon of the train and...More

They take you down the track maybe 1/2 of a mile if that and you get off and walk down and watch them feed some alligators. Then they turn around and come back. 15 bucks a ticket. For what you get $5.00 would be about...More

Train nice lights pretty but displays are in bad need of repair. Faded , dirty displays. Needs serious updating. Price seemed high. Fireworks lasted all of about 3 minutes.

Boring, disappointing, and any other negative adjective you can think of. But I guess the most important thing to know is that it is very amateurish. Decorations, narrations and lights were kinda pitiful. IMO they are never going to make it better as long as...More

First, they promised that if you paid extra for the front train car you would have heat. They did not turn on the heaters. I know it would have been colder sitting in the second, open rail car, but it was freezing. Second, the tracks...More
