Space Center Houston is one of Houston’s top attractions, the Official Visitor Center of NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston’s first and only Smithsonian Affiliate and a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence awardee. The center features more than 400 space artifacts as well as numerous permanent and traveling exhibits, attractions and theaters related to the exciting future and remarkable past of America’s human space-flight program – all for one admission price. The experience is designed to engage adults and children alike. Known around the world as the home of NASA Mission Control, International Space Station Mission Control and astronaut training, guests are taken behind the scenes to see NASA Johnson Space Center. We toured the Space Center with friends and thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. It is truly amazing to see the technology of space travel in its infancy and how we have advanced to present day.

Simplest way is to use Uber - I found t to be very reliable in Houston when I was there last month (pre-hurricane) but please check whether the Centre/tours have reopened before you travel following Harvey.

Be a tight squeeze mainly because of traffic in Houston ! I wouldn't try it

Thank you for including Space Center Houston in your travel plans, Ron! A normal general admission ticket is only valid for one day. It does include the NASA Tram Tour, but you could not reenter the center on a second day... More
