I went to Bayou Music Center to see Mora.
Besides how people acted, it was really cool.

The view of the bottom is incredible and it is an experience i do recommend. The ticket price depends on the artist but i think it was cheap. I love how it is organised inside.

I think if you want a different experience, this would be an ideal option to do in Houston.

The Go Tejano concert was so much fun. Great place to see live concerts. It was a very long line to get in, we were almost there for hour waiting to get in. Thankfully not that warm outside but they need to hire more staff. The venue offered parking but very expensive, would recommend the underground parking lot across the street. This was only $15 for the night.

The Bayou Place complex includes a number of leisure and entertainment premises including dining and bars. The Hard Rock Cafe is adjacent. It also contains a concert venue, called the Verizon Center (since re-named?).

I have seen Oasis, Alice Cooper and Megadeth there. Tickets are usually quite easy to get and as a small venue, it is easy to get a great view / close to the stage if you want to.

I really like this venue, and I’m pleased to recommend it to you.

Yes there are a number of shops and eateries here and was fairly quiet as we went during the day - I would think that this is a nighttime area that comes alive then - one would hope anyway!!

This has restaurants, a movie theater and a live entertainment facility, so it is convenient for tourists and residents alike.

Saturday night, 12 of us went out to eat and then to the Bayou Place at the Revention Music Center where all of us are seeing Jeanne Robertson and her Rocking Chair Tour.
All of us really enjoyed the show ... constant laughter throughout the entire evening. It is our 74th Monthiversary Celebration and what a wonderful time we had. Jeanne Robertson is a Riot of Funny. Her stories are Hilarious and Very Remember-able. Hope to see her again when she is in town. The flow into the Revention Music Center was very quick and professional. These people know what they are doing.
We Love Jeanne.

Nothing about Revention Music Center is memorable besides the extremely long lines to get in and get drinks, the ridiculously-close and uncomfortable folding floor chairs, and the lack of good restaurant options in the complex (Blue Fish is the best one we've tried, but it's pretty hit or miss based on your server and how busy it is).

Once you get inside, most of the bartenders are quick and friendly, and the bars are stocked with plenty of top shelf liquors/beers/wine to choose from, but the food options are pretty limited and beyond overcrowded (the lines for it are ridiculous - usually about 2x as long as the drink lines!!!), so unless you want Skittles for dinner, I would plan accordingly.

Ticket prices for most shows are usually reasonable, and the online purchasing process is super easy - so even if the Revention is not the best venue you've ever been to, it's worth the price of the ticket to see a concert/event/performer that you know you'll enjoy...Just plan ahead and try to Uber (or Lyft, or whatever) if you can.

Cheers!

This place is now known as Revention Music Center, and there are no complaints here! GA tickets were purchased, as well as a VIP pass. Fortunately, a big group of us were able to get inside the venue prior to other guests. We were able to stand right behind the barrier, best view ever. Crowd did get a bit wild at times, but that's expected.

The security up front was AWESOME as well! Kudos to Mr. Psycho and his staff!!

Went to Impractical Jokers. Paid extra for floor seats. They cramped everyone into such a small space with chairs practically on top of each other. The seats were all on a one level floor so you had to look through gaps between people's head to see the guys. Worst venue in Houston for this type of event. Horrible experience. Don't waste your time and money.
