It's worth a stop by even if you're not a religious person. The way the sun streams in, the peacefulness, it's very relaxing. Worth a trip to Montrose while in town.

This chapel is stunning on the outside from every direction and a modernist marvel on the inside, with great light from the skylight. Definitely a highlight of Houston for me!

This is one of the most amazingly modern and simple in decor Catholic worship centers in the city. Most of the churches in this city resemble Gothic style, this is more modern and present day of the city. This is a hidden gem in Houston. It's hard to find information on services, but it is a beautiful intimate chapel with a nice organ and choir. If you need a late mass on Sunday, the 8:30 is great, but get there early because it will fill up.

Incredible ornate interior, beautifullly baroque. Went to a wedding there and was impressed with the Greek Orthodox ceremony.

If you have the chance to tour the University of St. Thomas, make sure you visit St. Basil's. It is very modern and quite unusual. The University itself is worth a trip, Lovely campus.
