We stopped into the biergarden on recommendation of friends. I'm a type 2 diabetic so I wasn't expecting much, but having no options at all for low to no calorie (diet) beverages meant I got to enjoy their water and nothing else. No ciders or meads on tap and several of their house beers weren't on either meant even my drinking friends couldn't order and enjoy what they wanted. I guess they don't believe in guest taps or carrying really any brand beyond what they don't stock.
We ordered some food. I got the burger with a side salad and the cherry tomatoes were squished and rotten. The burger was meh and mostly flavorless.
Our server (John) was all over the map, anywhere but checking in with us. If we'd had the ability to reduce the tip, we would have but since all of the servers calculate everything on their personal cell phones/POS system, the minimum gratuity of 18.5% was automatically added to the bill with no option to reduce it. In other words, no matter what uninspiring service was given there was no penalty and our server was getting his 18.5% no matter what.
Nah yeah nah won't ever be back.

St. Arnold has some great beers. The venue was nicer and larger than I expected. We were here for a party, so were in a separate party room then the main beer hall so I'll review the food in both. The boudin balls were completely tasteless (3/10), but the sauce was good (7/10). The chicken tenders were very good as was the honey mustard sauce (8.5/10) for both. I didn't try the veggies and dipping sauce. That covers the catered "party room". The room was huge so lots of options for parties renting the room. Within the main beer hall the mushroom appetizer was really good but it was in a metal dish about 2" x 2" so a one person serving of a cheese and mushroom melted melee, not really stuffed mushroom caps (7/10). I had the fish and chips and was excited that it was cod fish and knowing beer battered cod can be great. The cod was without exaggeration the worst I have ever had. The "fillet" was maybe 1/4" thick with breading. The breading wasn't great and with such a thin piece of fish it was way overcooked, dry and the texture of a pressed fish cake (something like a low grade frozen fish stick). Cod is so easy to do well but it starts with an actual fish fillet of some thickness. People say they don't like fish, if someone cooked a piece of flank steak to oblivion you would say you don't like steak. This "cod" was inexcusable; a complete disaster. On the contrary, the tarter sauce was the best I have ever had. If they bottled the tarter sauce, they could make a success of selling that stuff. The wife had steak and fries and hers was good. The steak was maybe 1.25" thick, if only they treated the cod with the same respect...

Went 2 weeks ago on a Friday. We waited for 10 minutes a line of cars to put our names on the list. There was nobody to be found to take names. So all the cars just left to try to find parking. After we found a place to park we went up to the stand where the guy should have been taking names in the first place. I gave him some crap for not being there and having a bunch of cars waiting. He ignored what I said and took our names. He seemed very lackadaisical and disinterested in doing his job. We found out that it was going to be a 45 min wait, so we decided to leave and vowed never to come back. All the employees were walking around like zombies and no sense of urgency. Apparently customer service is not St. Arnold's strong suit.

Six in our party. We ordered drinks, appetizers, food. 2 of us were violently ill 4-5 hours later. We think it was because the 2 shared a pretzel appetizer with toppings. Just be careful of what you order - like any bar - I guess the ambiance made me let my guard down. Never again.

Went to a banquet for our SCCA. First visit and parking was tight, despite several parking lots spread over a decent sized industrial area. Food was good and so was the beer. Looks like there is nearly always some event or happening on the grounds. Great place to people watch.

Location is tucked away in downtown but well worth finding. They had a great beer selection as expected. I had one of the two flights they offered the Tarnation stout was my favorite in it. The food was good (not great) also. Sat in the biergarten outside on a Saturday afternoon, where they had an ball game on a giant screen... had a nice time amongst many fans and their dogs decked out in Astros jerseys!

We love this Houston brewery. It is a restaurant, brewery, and beer garden with a very friendly staff. It’s a great place to hang out while sipping some fine Texas craft beer. Don’t forget to take a self tour inside the restaurant. I love the artwork decor around the perimeter. We have dined here and at other times, we simply come for their beer. The outdoor beer garden is cozy for a couples’ date yet spacious enough to host a large party. Our service has always been great. Our beer and food comes out in a timely manner. The menu consists of your average pub food. We do love their pizza! It’s also kid and pet friendly. We especially loved their brewery tour.

In the beer garden, my fries came salted after ordering unsalted. The server quickly replaced them with unsalted ones and I thought it was over and good. The manager came by and apologized and gave us beer coupons. I never complained but he felt the need to come over. Blow me away!!!

We were In Houston on business and decided to come here our last day. Besides not being able to tour the Brewery because it was too late, everything was good. They have a pizza garden with some nice views and plenty of seating for large groups. The in house IPA’s were pretty darn good and worth the price. Hopefully we can tour the brewery next time we show up

First time visiting. Got there a little before noon on a Saturday. It was already busy. Planned on taking the 1pm tour which we did and recommend. While waiting we ordered a appetizer and a pizza. Both were well worth it. Plan on visiting again for sure!

I know it’s common for people to bring board games and chill on the weekend, but is that normal for a weekday lunch? Specifically this week on that free time between Christmas and New Year’s.

Whether it’s common or not among the community, it is allowed for you to do so if you wish :)
Why not?!

Yes, they are kid friendly and have a great root beer they make that is free. I buy it from time to time at the store. There are big picnic tables for everybody to sit at and food is available for purchase. With safety regulations I'm not sure if anyone underage can take the tour but it can still be a fun time for all.
