The new music director is outstanding, the programming is solid if staid, and there always seem to be good seats. One of the better orchestras in the country. Jones Hall is a nice venue to catch a concert in, and the food served isn't bad...More

I have had season tickets for over 30 years but am always in awe of the class of this symphony. Houston is a very international city and at every event I hear at least 4 languages spoken, 5 if you include "Texan".
