The Houston museum district is one of the best in Texas and probably the country. Many options available for your museum tours.

Neat to have so many museums in a centralized area. Right in the middle of downtown and the medical district. Great restaurants nearby as well as the beautiful Hotel ZaZa. Parking is only drawback to this area.

All the museums in the district are amazing. In addition to this, the neighborhood is absolutely beautiful bordering on Hermann Park which is also beautiful with the Miller Outdoor Theatre. Houston really has some beautiful areas and this is definitely one of the best!

We had a great time in the Museums. Saw a wonderful exhibit of mordern art as well as some classic fine art. Best part was that there were no crowds like in NY at the Met yet the artwork was comparable in collection of artists.

Yes, I believe there are evening events on Thursdays for single adults. Check the Museum Website and also Yelp! Enjoy!
