We live in West U. and have been going to Rice Village for years. Sometimes we walk and sometimes we drive. We are very upset over the changes taking place in the Village. Mom and Pop shops are disappearing and their spaces are remaining empty....More

We spent two days familiarizing ourselves with the area. We will return when we are in Houston and have recommended this village to everyone. There are traditional chain retail and unique one of a kind boutiques, spas and dessert shops. The restaurants cover all food...More

Many people told me to come and look around here. It is okay. There are some nice places to eat. Like Zoe's Kitchen and then grab coffee from the place next door. The shops are a bit sniffy and over priced. Nice to browse around...More

The village used to be a place to find funky, trendy little shops and have a fun morning. Has now been taken over by large expensive stores. If that is what you want then this is a great outdoor shopping experience with plenty of restaurants...More

Rice Village has morphed into every strip center in USA. The shops are the same at every mall. NO individuality at all PLUS parking meters - wow - what a let down.

Stop by Half Price Books for an enormous selection on books, CD's and DVD's at bargain prices. Super CD selection of great old country artists and terrific selection of books on all things Texas!
