What a lovely park to walk through while being quarantined during the pandemic. Was packed on the weekends so we went back during the week and it was fairly empty so we felt very comfortable walking around. The views of downtown Houston were beautiful. They had a wonderful sand pit for volleyball, bikes you could rent, lovely artwork spread throughout the property and a wonderful walking path along Buffalo Bayou. All in all, a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors.

This is the best place to see the Houston Skyline. Nice walking paths in the park. Very clean. Parking available.

This is a nice park to walk around, very quiet and relaxing. It has some lovely views of the city skyline. If you park on Allen Parkway it will cost you a dollar to park.
A lot of joggers and cyclists use it. Just be aware as some of the cyclists go quiet fast, so keep an eye out for them, especially if you have a small dog.

The park itself it very nice and relaxing, but pay attention. 1st there is hardly any close parking and do not park on any streets around the park. I saw at least 2 cars with windows broke out and another 6 windows that were just laying on or near the side walk. 2ndly I drove around for about 30 minutes before I got a parking space at the park to only be told by a meter maid that all the parking for the main lawn was reserved and she was writing $80 tickets per vehicle. What a racket.........on a Sunday.
The crowd is ok, some shady characters around, but as long as there are a lot of people you should be ok. Bathrooms were about 1/2 mile from the main lawn so be aware it is a long walk.

Great park close to center of city with nice views of buildings and calm setting. We stopped here for a bit just to take in nice day before heading to anniversary dinner in Downtown Houston

Great park for a casual stroll when you are in the area. It is on the north side of Buffalo Bayou park. When you go, head for the gardens and then to Sabine Promenade on the east side.

We went running through this park while in Houston. It is a nice park just west of downtown Houston. Located on Buffalo Bayou, it is a beautiful spot in an urban area.

Eleanor Tinsley Park is along Allen Parkway just west of downtown Houston, Texas. It was designated on April 20, 1998 in honor of Eleanor Tinsley, who served as a member of the Houston City Council At-Large for 16 years.
The park houses the Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark, the Shady Grove Victim Memorial, a Henry Moore sculpture entitled "Large Spindle Piece", the San Felipe playground, jogging trails, and a sand pit which can be used for volleyball.
