If you dont like jogging, you can just grab a bike from one of the bike stations around town a take a trip around this loop, nice sights (even after the mess that harvey made), nice way to see the green parts of the city
These trails are awesome wide bike paths that run mostly parallel with a black top running trail. Additionally of you want to do the grassy hillier trails you can.
This is one place I don't mind making a drive to run. Great job Houston!

Allen Parkway runs along the famous Houston bayou, and is surrounded by lush greenery.

I used to love this place, but now I dont feel safe running at Allen Parkway at all. Alot of break-ins, DONT leave valuables in your vehicle. My car was broken into this weekend in the bright day light along with TWO OTHERS...WTH??
