Well worth a look at the place where Charles Darwin lived. It was easy to find with good signing from the main road.

We visited over Origin weekend and took a 20 month old. The museum/house is fascinating and well laid out so that you get a real sense of what it must have been like when Darwin and his family lived there. I was expecting it to...More

A pleasant country house with a well curated review of Darwin's life. One got a feel for his genius, humanity, and eccentricities. It is a remarkable story. It would perhaps be best in the summer when the garden is in full flower, but still was...More

Lots of parking, but the road up from town is narrow and trees hang. Can easily park in town and walk the quarter mile, but no sidewalk for most of the trip.
