We were allowed to wander through the entire building and every part is worth seeing. A wonderful job of restoring an historic property. Any person interested in Texas history will enjoy it.

This was an interesting courthouse. The original one had a fire and the dome part caved in. You can see a list of donors who helped rebuild.Willie Nelson gave a couple of concerts to help rebuild.

This is one of the nicer courthouses in Texas. It was restored in the 90s and the new bell tower is fantastic. At noon we were treated to some great music as well. There are a few interesting monuments outside including the old bell. Definitely...More

Hillsboro has done an awesome deed by restoring their courthouse. Absolutely beautiful! They have a farmer's market on Saturdays during the summer.
