My wife and I visited Peckerwood and participated in a Texan native plants tour. The guide, who runs the garden, was very good and the garden itself was also excellent. Well worth a visit.

The founder John Fairey did our tour and he was wonderful. Very interesting and knowledgable. He is a believer in diversity of plants. The gardens may be toured by appointment only. A great place for those who appreciate plants and nature.
