I don't think you have to be a Christian to appreciate this attraction. If you are a Christian you will appreciate it even more. Very well done life-size models of the last few hours of Christ's life here on earth. They also had a very nice gift shop as well! Most of the attraction is outside, but some is inside... More

On a Sunday in November, my friends and I visited the 19-story cross and the various sculptures depicting the stations of the cross, the Last Supper, the three crosses on the hill, and the empty tomb. They were magnificently sculpted, looking lifelike. Each display was introduced by a plaque. While the bookstore and any offices were closed because it was... More

The 190-foot cross would be worth seeing just by itself but there are life-size outdoor recreations of 14 scenes of the crucifixion week of Christ crucifixion encircling the huge cross. It is quite moving. I took many pictures but none capture it - it is simply a must first-hand. There is a cave re-creating the tomb and a small exhibit... More

You will probably see it as you approach it on I-40. I sure wanted to get close to it. Once we found the road leading up to it we realized there is quite a bit to see. I do not know what denomination or group built the property but I respect them a lot.

I'll start with I'm not religious. The cross is kind of on route 66 so we wanted to stop off an take a look. Its fairly impressive and dominating, and there's more than just the cross. The circle with the story of the crucifixion. It was kind of interesting. But to be honest I just found it odd to have... More

We doubled back from Lubbock to go see this. We had gone by it, but didn't see it on our way to Lubbock. We were on our way home to California from the Midwest. It was definitely worth it. Quite impressive.

This recreation is the 14 scenes of Christ crucifixion is very well done. There is a very beautiful 190 foot cross in the middle of the property then the 14 chapters of the story and circle the entire perimeter. There is even a cave re-creating the tomb and a small exhibit for an exact replica of the shroud of Turin.... More

I had heard that this was a place was a very special place to visit. 13 stations of the cross, the last Supper-Judas didn't give Jesus eye contact; the crucifixion displayed-the one criminal couldn't look at Jesus face; copy of 10 commandments with Beatitudes; Jesus holding a newborn baby in his hands with the sign: Dedicated to the millions of... This is an absolutely beautiful display. It is very well done, and relevant certainly for Believers. We had been here several years ago and were delighted, this visit, to share it with dear friends who had not seen it before. It is quite a long drive for us, but very well worth it. The morning of our visit was a... More

Wow, while traveling West along I-40 my wife suggested that we stop at the cross, which I had not visited before though she had. As we pulled into the parking area I soon realized it was much more than just a large cross. As we walked the grounds I couldn't help but become emotional at seeing the statues depicting our...
