Pre purchased tickets as recommended but you still had to wait in a huge line to enter. No signs to tell you where anything is so you ask and no one wants to help you . We found a table after not to much trouble. 2 out of 6 slides were closed . The wave pool outside was closed . With the other things closed that put a ton of people in the lazy River and other slides creating long lines. Long lines that were not worth waiting in to ride the slide compared to other water parks. The Lazy River had 15 tubes - yes I counted. I spoke to three employees and they all said wait for a tube to come open. After 1 hour or waiting I decided to ask a manager. Same response ! Just wait! We drove 254 miles , paid $200 to get in and ended up walking around the Lazy River.
FYI if you are over 300 Lbs ( which I am not ) however I watched person after person being turned away from riding the slides. I heard a person say there was not one slide rated for over 300lbs.
Now I’m glad their safe but people should know this before they go. We have been to several water parks that will allow people up to 350 ride so keep shopping if this is you .
Seating fills up fast but there is a lot of seating inside and outside.
If your local and don’t want to travel maybe this is worth $50 a day but for us it was an EPIC Fail.

Really disappointed, kids were bored after 30 mins. There were about 12 tubes for the lazy river and even fewer for the slides, perhaps to prevent social distancing but ended up being bunched up in a line waiting for tubes; so much for precautions. Pool was crowded, wave pool is outside so closed in winter. Food was reasonably priced and ok. Kids said they prefer Great Wolf Lodge, will not be coming back.

We did the $14 Twilight Swim and it was a great deal! We went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't crowded. It was clean and the slides were great. My kids are 11, 9, and 6 and they all loved it. The food wasn't great so eat beforehand. We all loved the waves in the lazy river and the two slides that you go on with the 2 person tubes. Pro tip: bring shampoo for the showers so you can go home clean!

The layout is poor, creating significant choke points trying to move around the park. The noise level is too high nearly to even talk to someone next to you. Forget trying to get someone's attention you get too because of the choke points. Not enough seating for the number of guests, even at less than full capacity. We didn't eat there but the snacks were expensive. The arcade is decent and ironically, the quietest place in the park other than the restroom. The do have tons of staff keeping the restrooms decent, not great but ok for a water park. A little expensive for what you get but cheaper than getting a room at Great Wolf.

My family enjoyed New Years Day at the waterpark. In the morning the park was not crowded at all, later in the day it got more crowded but the lines still weren’t too bad. The park was clean and the employees were all polite. We rented a cabana, which included a TV and a waiter. He brought us pitchers of ice water which was nice. The negative for us was the food. No outside food is allowed. You can bring in water, but not in a cooler. Yes they search your bags. We ordered lunch but most of us didn’t like our food, we wound up leaving a little earlier than we planned to because everyone was starving. It would have been nice if they had packaged snacks for purchase, I didn’t see any.

We visited yesterday. In all fairness it was Labor Day weekend. We were very excited to go after hearing/reading all the hype. We were sorely disappointed. It started out by having bought online tickets and still having to wait in the same line as everyone else to get in. Then when you get in guess what, you have to wait in a longer line than if you hadn’t bought tickets at all. There was no one at the counter to buy tickets. But if you did buy online tickets you had to wait in another line to have your tickets validated. Why? This is absurd with the technology of today. These days there should be a scanner at the door to scan the tickets, each presumably having their own unique bar code and you are done. So while we had tickets for 10am when the park opens, by the time we got in pretty much all the chairs had already been spoken for.
The layout of the place is awful by the way. The food and bathrooms are located adjacent to one another as is the ramp to the upper level so there is always a log jam of people at that point.
We got in the lazy river which was nice enough from a length perspective it is a bit narrow and for sure about a foot too shallow.
The worst was lunch. Everyone gets hungry so I go to get some food and realize there appears to only be there one place to get food and that line was nearly to the end of the building. By the time I got through the line it was an hour! And I noticed that all through the day the line never really got much shorter. The funny (not funny) thing was about a third through the line I noticed that they do have a second place to get food and no one was in line. (Because the main food line que’s and covers up the location! (And they offer a very limited selection.) so not really sure what the point was.
Food pricing was ok I guess and the quality is about what you would expect. They do have a bar at one end. Prices were quite high so you only wanted to get one drink.
We realized there is a wave pool outside so went to check it out. Frankly it was small for the capacity of the facility. That said, we enjoyed how much quieter it was out there compared to being in the building.
We were disappointed the vendor outside was closed. The girls wanted ice cream but I wasn’t waiting in that ridiculous line again! (Why would you not have everything open on one of your biggest days of the year?)
To summarize, highly disappointed and won’t be back. For a municipal water park it is ok I guess but definitely does not live up to the hype and should not be compared to the great indoor facilities. And frankly for the money we think the Cove in Little Elm is much better.

The facility is clean and lots of life guards on duty. The children’s section of the water park is listed as 5 and under and this is not the case and the bigger kids constantly splashing the little ones. Also, the slides are not convenient to get access. You have to wait in a line for a mat (only like 10 mats for all the slides) long walk after getting mar and have ti climb stairs and then have to give up your mat and get in line again if you want to go down another slide. The lazy River current was nice, however; there was only like 5-10 tubes available to use. $34 a person and no mats for slides and no tubes for lazy River

I went here with my family visiting from out of town to escape the heat and we had a blast! My 1 yr old loved the shallow children's area and I could have stayed in the lazy river and wave pool for days. Water slides aren't really for me but I did enjoy the slowest one.
They also has some performers while I was there - a juggler, unicyclist, and a high rope performer. These were a neat special touch that I haven't experienced at a Waterpark before.

On Monday August 28thst I took my three grandkids (ages 10, 12 & 13) who were visiting from Germany and they were absolutely awestruck. It was fantastic. They went down almost every slide several times, floated the lazy river and never got tired. The ten-year-old got a free ice cream as it was her birthday which was a surprise. The facility was clean and safe for all. The highlight of the day was the “surfing area”. I was surprised they were brave enough to try that but they loved it. I must shout out kudos to Amaria the flow instructor there. She was very patient, Professional and cared about each and every child that wanted to ride the waves (surf). She explained everything to them and worked with each child to help them get better with each and every try. She cared about her job and the kids that she worked with. She is an asset to EpicWaters and the City of Grand Prairie. Her attitude was exceptional and there’s no doubt she will be successful later on as she follows her dreams.

Was disappointed in how many were allowed in park. Very few tables available at 1:00 other than cabanas which were too expensive. No social distancing due to amount of people in park and we were too close many times. No masks while guests were walking around. No distancing waiting in lines and there were little floats for which made lines longer. Never saw any floats being wiped down either. It was extremely hot in the park as well until late in afternoon. Friendly staff but not enough of them due to the size of crowd. Best part was the game room. We went there to cool off and to get away from rides with too long of lines for a while.
