We enjoyed our visit. Wanted to see more on the Great Storm of 1900 and were a little disappointed there wasn't more there - well, if there was more, it wasn't readily available to the public. Still a nice place to visit.

If you want to learn about Galveston history this is a great place to start. A small but very nice museum upstairs and an awesome kids library on the first floor.

Ok, so this library is awesome. There are historical items and best of all...a used book store inside. Some great used hardback books 2-3$ a piece. Great gem.

We had some time after a tour before dinner and decided to visit the Rosenburg Library/Museum. It was an interesting place, free to visit and the museum houses an interesting small book collection as well as memorabilia from WWI.

4th floor is the main museum. Not a large exhibit, but it does have some uniqueness to it. Self-paced and a free attraction. We recommend to visit the visitors center across the street in the Ashton Villa as well.

I enjoyed the interior and exterior of the library. I needed to use a computer and I appreciated the library staff that allowed me access with my fiance's library card. The printing of documents was very economical compared stationary store.
