This is a lovely old building. The seating is tight and there are a couple of places where it's difficult to see, but you can tell that when ordering tickets so just don't buy those seats. It's beautiful and they have lots of good artists...More

The Grand 1894 Opera House is a theater frozen in time. A visit feels like a trip to turn of the century Galveston (before the Great Storm) when the city was the most populous and cosmopolitan in Texas. The venue is a small one which...More

Restored Pre-1900 Opera house built when Galveston was booming as the center of commerce in Texas. Incredible atmosphere, and world class entertainment and musicals. A tremendous, intimate venue for live entertainment.
