We signed up for the "Island Pass" and this was one of our stops. The Grand 1894 Opera House was a very inviting tidbit of history. Admittedly, there isn't a great deal to see when an attraction is not going on there, the atmosphere takes...More

This was another tour we picked on our Island Pass. Very low admission $2.00 person. You tour on your own, 3 story building. Very pretty place. We spent about 30 minutes touring it.

This is a lovely old building. The seating is tight and there are a couple of places where it's difficult to see, but you can tell that when ordering tickets so just don't buy those seats. It's beautiful and they have lots of good artists...More

We were fortunate to see Arlo Guthrie in the Opera House for a great night of fun. Handicapped people or very large people may not have it so good. Restrooms are down a flight of stairs, or outside and around a corner. Do be prepared...More

We enjoyed a delightful Arlo Guthrie concert at this intimate, historic theater—our third time attending an event there. Acoustics, sound system, lighting, and sight-lines are excellent. The theater’s website makes it easy to order tickets in advance. This performance hall is a Galveston treasure. If...More

Thank you for your review, we're glad you enjoyed the Midtown Men. We apologize for the "tight" seating, our seating footprint is based on the historic theatre layout and folks were not quite as tall back in 1894! Please let our box office know if...More
