Recommend renting an umbrella and chair combo, $35 for all day. Beats hauling to and from the car, as the lot is a walk through deep sand. Restrooms were clean, showers inside and outside available, convenient! Snowcone vendor walked around, food available within walking distance....More

Stewart Beach is a family friendly beach. There is admission however they have concession, restrooms, and showers available. Also they don't allow alcohol so it is ideal for children.

Ok the reviews are right - this is NOT a free beach - but to us it was worth it. Parking is centralized and easier than dragging your gear across the street or down the seawall. Beach area is way bigger and spread out -...More
