Nice little program

The movie gave one a sense of what it must have been like to experience the storm of 1900. Actual pictures show the event relistically.

Amazing and informative hour long movie about early European settlement of the island. Two other movies were popular, including the 1900 storm, but this was best.

As apart of our family vacation we decided to go and see the movie The Great Storm it is about the Hurricane from 1906 it shows exactly what happened how many were killed during this awful hurricane something I could have never imagined and do not ever want to go through it even shows how Galveston was rebuilt very well... Yes, that's what we were thinking when we left the house. Then, we got inside. All the things to learn about Galveston! Honestly, I never thought about how all the immigrants arriving from Europe got from Galveston Island to the mainland before we went here. I'm not going to ruin the surprise. You'll have to go to see for yourself.... More

We saw "The Great Storm" movie and it was very informative. Not what I expected, but it was a great thing to do on a rainy day in Galveston. Only thing I wasn't happy about was the $5 pen I bought in the gift shop ended up not working =(

The film was informative and interesting but it hasn't been updated in 20 years. The original footage from 1900 was good, the hand drawn graphics got a little boring after a while.

Was closed on Tuesday after Labor Day, so we came back on Wednesday to see "The Great Storm". The theater was comfortable for a half hour showing. A lot of factual information and personal interest concerning the 1900 hurricane. They validate for two hour parking in the adjacent lot.

Very informative. The pirate movie had no sound so we were given a refund (that was done quickly with no problem) I wish we could have stayed for the movie on immigration, will definitely go back next time we are in Galveston for that one. Had a good selection of books in the gift store.

We watched the film about the great storm. It was short but good and nice to see some of the area history and weather.

There is an incredible story at the heart of this island city and it's told in this short film. It's not a masterpiece of a movie but the story stands alone and you will leave in awe of this small but mighty city and what it has been through.
