I called (June 1, 2018) and spoke to someone here and they have told me that tours have been suspended indefinitely. It sure would have been nice to experience this.

So honored to meet in the ballroom of historic Fort Crockett. It was a pleasure to get away from Houston and enjoy the sea wall and the beach.

Hi There are cancellations. I would recommend calling a few days before to see if that has happened. I would not recommend just showing up - puts the volunteer tour guides in an uncomfortable position.

This is a free attraction. I believe tours are only done on Thursdays. They recommend you book months in advance. We've been to Galveston twice and have yet to secure a visit. You need to call for reservations.
