Really enjoyed this tour. Informative talk by volunteers about the turtles and what goes on with them. Volunteers were knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was awesome to be so close to the turtles. Great tour for kids, families or just adults.

I toured this facility with a group of seniors. We watched an informative and entertaining presentation by a volunteer before we went to the sea turtle building. The turtles are amazing creatures, swimming around in their individual little tanks. The overall experience fostered a deeper...More

We had a great time with the sea turtles today. I was impressed with how patient our tour guides were with all of the children. The wait list is very long so you have to schedule months in advance. It was well worth the wait....More

So honored to meet in the ballroom of historic Fort Crockett. It was a pleasure to get away from Houston and enjoy the sea wall and the beach.

This is a very educational place to visit. They are doing research on saving sea turtles. The facility is secured- you can't just walk in. I suggest you call for a tour. Fascinating what goes on there.

Hi There are cancellations. I would recommend calling a few days before to see if that has happened. I would not recommend just showing up - puts the volunteer tour guides in an uncomfortable position.

This is a free attraction. I believe tours are only done on Thursdays. They recommend you book months in advance. We've been to Galveston twice and have yet to secure a visit. You need to call for reservations.
