We did this for the first time over this past summer and it was nice to do something other than the usual lunch-beach-Moody Gardens. Entrance fee was minimal and climbing around the old ship was fun and exciting for the kids. Made me seasick just...More

There was a 3 hour storm flood and we ate at Fishermans Wharf. Our table was right in front of this awesome Ship!! Would love to do the actual tour to hear The Elissa story.

An amazing restoration of a ship that traveled the world under sail. We did the self guided audio tour and found it to be a fascinating trip back in time. Really enjoyed the visit.

Highlights: For parking, you should park in the paying parking lot in front of the Fisherman's Warf restaurant and then get your ticket validated at the restaurant; just walk in and ask them, there were pretty nice. The walk from there is about 2 minutes....More

We enjoyed touring the old ship. It really takes you back in time and was very educational. She has been beautifully preserved.

We visited early in morning, very pleasant. Hubby unable to maneuver the ship, but I did ! It was interesting! Never been on Tall Ship. Quarters seemed so small. Men must have been small & thin !! It is really kept up well. The movie...More

I walked around the ship while waiting for a harbor tour and thought it was somewhat interesting, but if I'd sat through the documentary first I would have appreciated it much more. Wow. Oldest tall-masted ship still sailing! Great story of the efforts to save...More

There arn't a lot of restored sailing ships around, much less one from the late 1800's. She has a steel hull and an auxiliary motor, which is why she survived long enough to be restored. One can tour the complete vessel from the foward crews...More

Enjoyed walking through tight places inside the ship. The movie theater needs a fan, because the air was very stale.

$12 charge to Adults, $9 to those 6-18, 5 and younger are not charged a fee. This is slightly higher than other similar spots around the Island, but is such an iconic Galveston tradition.

Maybe the top deck, but no, not to most spots. Tight spaces and stairs.

This is a tall ship technically but it is very small. About there size of ships Columbus sailed. 2 sets of stairs or more like ladders. It is worth the tour which can be done in 15 minutes.,
