While there are some lovely homes and buildings to see here, a drive down this street balances the nice with the ugly...lots of gas stations, auto shops etc. The traffic mid afternoon does not lend for easy sightseeing here.

The homes along Broadway are breathtaking. It's a visit to the past. If you love architecture and design of homes, don't miss it.

There are several mansion one can visit. Most of the furnishings are original. They have some nice quality items in the souvenir areas of the mansions.

Wonderful street to drive down slowly and see great statues, fabulous gingerbread architecture on elegant homes, and tacky strokes of more contemporary times.

The entrance of Galveston is Broadway St but also the poor neighborhoods of Galveston. The beauty starts at the statue on 25th street. Mansions, Victorian era homes and meets the ocean at the sea wall.

We enjoyed driving on this street and admiring the architecture and beauty of the large luxurious historic homes on this street. Beautifully landscaped too.

This is a historical street with mixed messages. You have some grand old homes and some rundown buildings. Some residential buildings and some commercial properties. Some properties in pristine condition and some make you lock your doors.
