Nice treat in Galveston to walk around and grab a bite to eat and drink. Ample nearby parking makes it an easy visit.

The Strand is one of those things that you have to do when visiting Galveston. I recommend going to Star Dug Store. The Strand has all kinds of neat things. There are several places to eat that have great food.

Loved all the little shops. People were awesome and very friendly!! Stop and have a drink and shop. Whether you want traditional or eccentric....you will find it! Loved everything about it!

I can easily spend hours here.. find a place to park your car for the day and plan on wearing comfy shoes for walking.. there are blocks with many neat stores for souvenirs, beachwear, food, and island art. You will love it... take your time...More

My family had a wonderful time lots of fun things to do! Candy and icecream shop lots of fun stores! Places to eat great down town area a must if your in the area!

yes they are open on sundays. i prob depends on the shop itself. some serve drinks so im sure they are open late
