Had a great day shopping on the Strand. There's something for everyone and you can find a lot of unique gifts etc. But I must warn you that it's not cheap, I paid $2.50 for a 16oz bottle of soda. However, I learned that you...More

We were there on a Saturday, and it was really busy, and you should download the Pay by Phone app to save time to pay for parking around The Strand!

Many shops here. Some boutiques and some typical souvenirs shops. All shop owners we encountered were super friendly. Restaurants also on the strand. Some nice photo op areas also

There are lots of cute shops in the area. This is the perfect place to get souvenirs. This area also has a trolley that is $1 each time you board.

The strand is one of my favorite parts of Galveston. The nighttime activity here is so much fun as well as the restaurants and shopping during the day! If you visit you must stop by at Gracies! It is a favorite of mine!

Lots of great shopping where you can buy beer and walk freely around the streets with it! Many great places to eat also. Definitely worth visiting when in Galveston!

An easy place to stroll with many storefronts undercover on the walkway. Be aware these are raised walkways with lots of steps. Parking can be a pain. Try to park on side streets if possible

We had a great time shopping on the strand (even in the rain) but most stores have steps so leave the stroller at home or you'll be dragging it up steps.

There's a nice visitor center across from the Rosenberg Library. They can tell you all you need to know.

Ditto...didn't see any golf cart tours, just the horse and carriage tour. Not sure the price on that, but it looked like there was a sign on one of the corners.
