This Aquarium is so small and OVERPRICED. You will spend so much money and be very disappointed at the end. I have a 6 year old and 2 year old and my kids did "that's it"?. I don't mind spending money for my family but c'mon, Adult prices were outrages as well as for my 6 year old.

Nice exhibits, with viewing of the sea life in large enclosures, with passages under the plexiglass tanks so you can have a different viewpoint of the swimming fish. The Penguins will be returning soon. Disappointed that they did not have a jelly fish exhibit. The price is high compared too the aquariums that are better.

I had read many other reviews so I set my expectations low. I would definitely not recommend a family of four come here for a one time experience. It appears they want you to buy the annual pass. I visited on a very off-season day so there were defiantly not a crowd just a handful of curious tourists. The restaurant... More

This is not a good time to visit the aquarium. I have been several times before and it was really nice. This past Saturday, not so much. They did warn us going in that the penguin exhibit is closed for renovations. It seemed like more than just the penguins were closed and there was REALLY loud construction noise throughout most... This was part of our vacation to scope out places to bring the kids. Although it was Tuesday and admittedly slow, it was worth going see. The rainforest and aquarium are well worth it. The butterfly enclosure was amazing.

What a different concept, showing rain forest creature in a conservatory atmosphere. They have many different species, plus stingray and other tropical water life creatures. Like Tree slots, white face monkeys that walk right around the public with a keeper. Then you have the tropical plants like orchids, azaleas, and other flowering plants of the rainforest. Great place for all... More

We were lucky enough to go on a very quiet day. Well after we let that large group of school children get past us and out of sight it was quiet! We also were fortunate to have been greeted by Pam and she did fantastic explaining our options. There are many different ways to go about seeing this attraction. Turns... More

Our stay at Moody Gardens was once again wonderful. We found every staff person to be attentive and kind. Service in the upstairs restaurant was fantastic, the maid service was kind and timely, room service arrived when promised as well. I like the entertainment options on site, too.

The Rainforest Pyramid was fun. The lights exhibit was not. This is kind of an expensive place, and we were just sort of underwhelmed.

We went to Moody Gardens on the recommendation of the Hotel staff. It was a nice day. Only complaint was limited food available. The Rain forest was really good although hot. The aquarium was awesome!
