I love how excited the info desk person was to share the importance of the unbroken treaty. She really filled in the details beyond the historical movie which starts on the quarter of the every hour.

This is a fascinating stroll through early Fredericksburg. From the early firefighting equipment to the bath house to the school, this museum gives us a real feel for life in earlier times. Associating family names to the various residential buildings helps visitors visualize the people...More

An interesting look into pioneer times in Fredericksburg, especially since the town was typical for its time. Admission was very inexpensive and also included admission to Vereins Kirche, which we missed because of time constraints. Worth the small amount of times it takes to see...More

Buildings included a fire department, one-room school, smokehouse, dwelling, log cabin and more. Very interesting and fun. Staff was...More

Please visit this museum. It is excellent. A complex of recreated homes from a past era. History comes alive and is greatly recorded. Collect your passport and enjoy the day

Very good way to get a quick summary on the settlement of this area by German immigrants. The video presentation was well done and kept my attention. The exhibits are great. You can easily do this whole tour in one hour.
