Interesting!

A very interesting design. The plaque on the east side of the building explains how and why such a quirky little building was built in Fort Worth. To the west is Hyde Park, Fort... read more

The building is a piece of history. I cannot decide if the medical practice that I consulted in the building was trying to be elite because of the location or that the staff and and doctor were not consumer oriented.

How cute!!! A mini version of Paul Starrett's Flatiron/Fuller Building in NYC! We didn't get to go inside, but from the outside, it looked just like a miniature version of the original. Hoping to explore it more the next time we are in town because it was a pleasant little surprise. (I wonder what my great grand uncle Paul Starrett... More

This building takes its name due to its being shaped like the antique iron (sad iron) that pioneers heated by the hearth. How cool is that! Per www.fortwortharchitecture.com, Flatiron Building was one of the first steel framed buildings in Fort Worth and was one of the tallest commercial buildings in North Texas in the early 1900's. Dr. Craven and his... More

A very interesting design. The plaque on the east side of the building explains how and why such a quirky little building was built in Fort Worth. To the west is Hyde Park, Fort Worth's first park!

As Architectures go, this building is not only bizarre but elegant at the same time. It resembles one similar in New York. One thing is to see it on the internet another is to see it for yourself.

Fort Worth has beautiful buildings. I would live to have these at home. This building is so unique and I wish I could have gone inside. It is worth the time to just look at the different buildings downtown, such beauty. I hear there is one in NYC but I've never been there so I'm not sure.

Built in 1907, this building is a replica after the one in NYC. Interestingly, the founder of Fort Worth (whom it's named after) is buried under the one in NYC. You can peak in the windows and see a gold leaf cast of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid as well!!!

Walked by this building while walking through downtown Fort Worth. Having been to the Flat Iron building in NYC, I wanted to see how this one compared. I don't believe this one is as big as the one in New York but still a nice building to sneak a peek at while strolling through downtown. It is within walking distance... More

my husband walks by every day at lunch. I see it when I pick him up or we trip around downtown after work. it's a fantastic building from all sides. look close to see architectural elements many miss. I'd rate it a 10cif we could see inside but alas, that will never be. so for now, it's our daily 4.
