We arrived as two couples to the Water Gardens. Went on a Sunday and found an open and free parking space on the street. Looks like 4 sections in this easily walkable area (water falls, mounrtain, quiet falls and a misting garden). Spent the most time at the water falls, even venturing down the staggered stairs to a lower level. Occasionally a traffic jam as groups moving up and/or down share the stairs. Most people were polite to take their turn and allow others to pass. The other spots were nice to look at as well. The other younger couple we came with climber the mountain as we enjoyed from below. Overall, a good stop to spend a lunch hour.

Great place to stop to walk around for a quick visit. There are 3 water features to visit and stone mountain to climb. The 14 and 10 year olds burned off some energy. Bring some change to feed the meters so you don’t have to bother paying with your phone.

It contains three different water sculptures. The first one is a meditation pool, the second one is composed of spraying fountains, and the third one is an active pool. It is a nice place to relax with family or friends.

The Water Gardens had many stone steps and trees which offered great views of the Fort Worth skyscrapers. This location could be found in the Downtown area. There was metered street parking, but it was free to park on the weekends. I really enjoyed looking at the multiple fountains, and I could tell that a lot of work was put into the design of this park. It was free to enter this park, and I felt safe in this park.

Fort Worth Water Gardens = it pays to do a little bit of research. We were staying at a hotel in the FW Stockyards and may have never found this place. We stopped by Monday mid-morning and the sun was just right for great shadowy pictures. I found the steps too steep for my bad knee to go down the main waterfall, but my DH took some photos. The area is lovely, but don't think this an water park for children = keep an eye on them.
The water gardens are free, parking nearby may have an hourly fee or look for a place on the street.

Western heritage roams freely in Fort Worth, where cattle drives occur twice a day in the Stockyards National Historic District. Enjoy diverse restaurants, exciting nightlife, cultural institutions and sporting events. Entertaining kids is a snap in the “City of Cowboys and Culture,” courtesy of Six Flags Over Texas, the Fort Worth Zoo or the Noble Planetarium and Museum of Science and History. You can depend on friendly and helpful service - the hallmark of true Texas hospitality.

This is a great place to take photos. The water gardens are very beautiful but not too big. Parents with younger children will need to make sure that they stay close since the water is right there. Some placed for kids to climb and spots to sit and eat/relax.

It was a beautiful day and while in Fort Worth decided to do a Segway tour that incompassed the downtown area and more. We passed through and did quite a few stops here and what a blessing they have. The people in the area must be in heaven during lunch breaks. Definitely a must see while in the area.

It is a nice place to visit. The design of the fountains is great, a real architectural jewel. It is the first time that we visited a water garden where you can walk into the center of the fountain without getting wet.

One of the closest I know of is the place connected to the Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown Hotel right across the street South-Easterly direction. Also, about 3-4 blocks away in the downtown area, there are a number of places to eat. However, I did not eat at any of them so I can't give a recommendation.

The convention center is close by, so if it is open then you can go there, but I don't recall restrooms specific to the park.
