I went here once. The place was filthy and when I got home I developed painful blisters on my hands and feet that the doctor could not identify. I would never consider going again and I warn everyone that is interested in going by sharing my tale of woe. This is that warning.

We have visited Burger's Lake many times with our family, with friends, and for business get togethers. It is a beautiful, well maintained, sandy bottomed swimming pool fed with fresh water. There are tons of shade trees, picnic tables, grills, and a beach and area for small children. Owned by a great family with well trained life guards.

We spent our last day in Texas here. We brought 2 teenagers and a 3 and 6 yr old. Everyone had a blast. The high fives were great! The swing! The slides for kids! We loved it! A lot to do for a family!

I've been to other public / private type places like Turner falls. This place is light years cleaner. Even the bathrooms were clean something hard to find at any water type park. 15 a person seems a bit high. It's not a lake it's a clean clear spring fed Sandy bottom pond.

I hadn't been back to Burger's Lake since the 80's when I used to go with my church youth group. We took a group of Boy Scouts out for a day trip from Arlington. None of the boys had ever been there and some weren't so sure they would like it cause it wasn't big and didn't have all the... More
