How often do you get to stand ten feet away from 2000-lb longhorns? And can you beat "free" for the cost? My kids loved the experience. I would simply encourage the management to give clearer signage leading to the pens.

This place is so worth seeing. Historic, fun, quaint, great original Texas foods of all genres, and MOST OF ALL the stockyard run at 11:00 a.m. daily. They also have an afternoon run. These animals are gorgeous and the cowboys also are entertaining and outfitted...More

Not what we expected at all. We were told lots of "great shopping and dining" Shops were all tourist items and very over priced. Bars were very dingy and could use a good cleaning. Also smoking is allowed in the bars. We did not eat...More

We always take our visitors to stocyards it is what everyone expects when they hear Texas! Several great restaurants (our favorite is Riskys BBQ). Kids and visitors love the cattle drive and shoot out reenactment. Date night's are great...live music and several bars. Don't miss...More
