Great collections of modern art. This was one of several museums in FT Worth that we visited! Enjoyed our visit.

This museum has a wonderful collection of American Art and should be included on any tour of Ft. Worth. It is near a number of other museums which make it an efficient location. We had a wonderful tour there.

The Amon Carter used to be known primarily for its Western Art (think Russell and Remington), but I was reminded how many other artists are featured there on a recent visit. To be sure, the Amon Carter has one of, if not the best, collections...More

This is a very nice Art Museum. It features, but is not limited to art of the American West. Several works by Remington and Russell alone make it worth seeing,

Someone once said that art represents the world "as it might and ought to be" The Amon Carter Museum of American Art met that requirement. The art museum in Dallas is good, but the Amon Carter Museum of American Art is fantastic.

The Amon Carter is way better than I expected. I have to admit some snobbery, since I feared that "American Art" might mean "blank kitsch." It doesn't. This is a thoughtfully curated space with art from many times and many, many styles. I go there...More
