Impressive exhibition with interesting commentary. Friendly, helpful guards made my visit more enjoyable. It's clear that they themselves love the collection. One even offered tips on how to get the best photograph of a dark painting.

I've never been a huge art museum fan, but this was nice. The architecture of the build itself is really cool though, if you know a thing or two about architecture. If there's no traveling/special exhibits, the museum is free to visit.

This collection covers a wide range of art from around the world. I was most impressed with the Impressionist period pieces, a delightful sampling with a few pleasant surprises.

Our children (ages 9 and 6) love visiting the Kimbell! The "Drop In Studio" program is an incredible learning experience. It is hosted most Saturdays during the month, the calendar is found online. You can begin signing up at 12pm, which I recommend since they are only able to accept the first 20 children. The "class" begins at 1pm with... More

This museum is free to the public unless there is a special exhibition. It is a wonderful experience. The vast amount of famous artists and their works of art was phenomenal. It would be great for anyone who appreciates art and culture. I did see some children but would recommend no small children. There is a restaurant and gift shop.... More

If you like ART if you like FREE, then come here. Exhibits vary, so we saw a lot of good stuff. Smaller than the Dallas Museum of Art, but totally worth a visit.

The Kimbell exceeded all expectations. I love art museums...(former art teacher here) and especially ones with a carefully vetted collection. I also love to see paintings hung with room around them, so the eye is not distracted. The Kimbell's collection is not only a lovely collection spanning centuries and styles, but hung with great care and space between canvases. What... More

if you like art this is a great museum. Best time to go is on Sunday when it is free, I believe it is still offered.

This museum has a wonderful collection of paintings. The museum restaurant is perfect for lunch. Piano building has wonderful special exhibits. The children's area is a great place to give the kids a break. Picnic area is between buildings with nice grass to play and run.

In Fort Worth? YES! This is a New York or London quality world class museum. Don't miss this if you are in the city or state. The facility itself is a jewel, but the exhibits are exceptional and change often. I was blown away!
