Staff at front office is enough to make you go somewhere else... if you can overlook the front office, then it's a basic camping place, it does allow some privacy, and some sites are nicer, and more level than others but the front desk isn't...More

Such a great place to camp with our travel trailer. Good camping spots, trees all around so the sun does not beat down on you. Great place for families. Office staff so friendly and helpful.

We camp out 4th of July weekend. It is a very nice park. Just very strict and rude at front desk! I will not be going back to this place. I will take my family elsewhere!

A small park in the park system, but we like the quiet, easy pace; just a great place for relaxing with or without a little fishing. Most sites have a picnic table and firepit in a somewhat secluded little hollow. Nice They only have 30...More

Beach is formed by two feet wide cement pathway. Toilets are not in not good condition and needs to be renovated. Only picnic areas are very nice.

We spent thanksgiving weekend here, every camping spot was full. But yet it was still quiet and very tranquil. The RV spots are very wooded so you do have some very nice privacy between camp sites. The hiking trails are very well maintained. The lake...More

This is a little piece of outdoor paradise, close to home. My family and I love to come here and camp as well as use the day facilities. This place is family fun for every one.

I believe there are alligators in Purtis Creek, yes. I've never seen one, but according to the state park website they have been seen in the area.
