It tells what past generations did so it could be what south Texas is today. It has lot of detail with actual samples of what people used and wore. It even has clothes to wear to take pictures of how people looked long time ago....More

I always enjoy a trip to this amazing museum. There is not a time I go and feel bored. The exhibits are amazing and full of history.

Real history of the valley - not whitewashed. Great exhibits, good store, very friendly staff. Information in Spanish and English.

The atmoshpere was great and the people were nice. We went there on a whim and truly enjoyed the entire tour.

I'm so happy we decided to stop here. We went as soon as the doors opened. The staff was extremely friendly. The exhibits were huge and full of inflammation. Take time to sit and enjoy the short films throughout the museum. We learned a lot...More

The museum is a breath of fresh air for South Teaxas. Well done, great place for kids and family. A must visit for the RGV.

Great experience! Museum staff was very friendly! Lots of activities, fun events, FOOD, and reenactors galore. We even had Aztec dancers and Lipan Indian exhibitions of dance! This place was just packed with Ppl from all over the U.S, Canada, and Mexico!
