We walked the grounds, did the mini museum inside the visitors center and walked around the outside of the house where President Eisenhower was born. All of those activities are free. We did not do the paid tour which would have included a tour inside...More

I'm a history buff and enjoy visiting historical homes when we travel. This was nice. The guided tour was $4 or you could tour the grounds, watch a short video and peer in the windows for free.

This was an unexpected pleasure and a good place to share a bit of history with children. It's easy to get to and well maintained.

It doesn't take long to experience this historical place. It was inexpensive, though, so not disappointing. There were a ton of butterflies in the garden, which was my children's favorite part!

While in Denison we stopped here to see Ike's birthplace. It is a small park & museum but was really nice. The guide was very knowledgeable about the area and about Ike and his family.

Very friendly desk staff. Watched informative video for free and all the exhibits in the visitor center are free. We didn't pay for the tour only because of time constraints.
