Pretty cool museum. Lots of history and info. Good way to catch on the history of Dallas. The displays were interesting, my favorite being the doll house.

We just happened to stumble onto the Old Red Museum while waiting for our tour of the Sixth Floor Museum. The building is gorgeous. There was a lot to see. I liked how it was organized into time periods so it was a good comprehensive summary of the history of Dallas. It was interesting to someone from out of town.

The museum covers the history about Dallas and it is very informative, and the displays and the artefacts are very good. There is plenty of parking underground and it is cheaper than the surrounding areas.

We started our trip at this museum, lots of history and very knowledgeable staff. Great Tip....park here, underground and walk everywhere else! Saved us lots of frustration since parking is hard and expensive to find.

It was too late to enter when we visited this historic old building which served as the original courthouse in Dallas. Imposing architecture and a museum of Dallas inside
