I love Churches, especially Cathedrals. I used to go by this beautiful one all the time. I pray that a cause for Sainthood for Father Joaquin Saenz y Arriaga be opened once it's possible. A dear, heroic, Catholic priest utterly faithful to Christ.

Dear Father Joaquin Saenz y Arriaga, please pray for conversion and final perseverance of my family, friends, enemies. Thank you for not betraying Holy Mother Church.

Gorgeous Catholic church located in downtown Dallas. We were fortunate to walk in on a weekday. Both the inside and outside of the church is beautiful. Lovely spot to visit and say a prayer.

I always enjoy walking around new cities, and when I can find a church I like to take a few moments to reflect and be thankful. With that, I am often surprised by interesting architecture and/or art. The Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin of Guadelupe has some beautiful stained glass and an interesting exterior. I would like to come back for a service, as it appears they have a wonderful organ. From what I was told, they are the second busiest Catholic Cathedral in the country.

The Cathedral of Guadeloupe is a nice, if utterly undistinguished Gothic-style church in downtown Dallas. It seems like a fine parish and the mass I attended was good, but I can’t see any reason to visit it as a tourist attraction.

This previously a small parish church has been completely refinished and now is not only the diocesan church but the largest hispanic parish church in the state of Texas. Very unique and beautiful.

Our visit started at the Dallas World Aquarium, then walked to Market Street then on to the Cathedral. It was a beautiful day to walk less than a mile (10 blocks) to the church. Windows were the best beautiful. The old churches have a history of their own.

The cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe is situated in downtown Dallas, in the Arts District. The outside is under renovations, but the inside is beautiful. It was built in the 19th century; it is a brick building with beautiful stained glass windows. In the outside, there is a sculpture of Our Lady of Guadalupe with Juan Diego. Many of the parishioners bring beautiful flowers and put them under the statue.

Visited the Shrine in downtown Dallas. The lobby and facade of the Church is being renovated, so we had to use the side entrance to get to the church.
Inside, the church is beautiful, with its stained glass windows and organ at the back of the church. You should come visit and see their gift shoppe too.
There's elevators for easy access to the floors, and there's parking in the basement.

The Cathedral was started in the 1890's and designed with Gothic elements - high pointed arches and a light- filled interior that would elevate the spirit. It is One of the Finest Examples of High Victorian Gothic Architecture in Downtown Dallas. In 2005 the towers were completed along with the carillon fulfilling the architect's vision for this important house of prayer.
