While in Dallas we wanted to ride the M-Line trolley. Even though this was our first time in Dallas the M-Line stops were easy to find. The schedule said the maximum wait time was 17 minutes but in the event we waited about 25. In this time though we discovered the online trolley tracker which showed where our trolley was.... More

I was just about to book an expensive trolley bus tour at the "Old Red" Courthouse when I noticed a visitor's center sign down the hall. The gentleman handed me a map and asked if I was familiar with DART. Yes, I said. He said if we got on at the West End Station, and off at the St. Paul... More

We hopped on this free trolly to help us get a feel for the lay of the land. It was our first time in Dallas and it did just that. It takes about 50 minutes to do the loop.

We ride the whole line to see what is new then decide what we want to go back and see and where we want to eat. Kids love it.

Who doesn't like to ride on a trolley? Not only does the trolley run on a regular schedule that can get you from one part of the city to another, it's free. The staff tell you bits of history too. May be hard to enter if you have mobility issues.

I would use the app to ride the trolley. You could be left standing and waiting in the sun for a long time if you don't check their pick up stop times. It's a novelty tho! Super fun!

Free, leisurely ride on one of several refurbished trolleys through parts of downtown, the Arts District and McKinney Avenue area. They have a free app that lets you follow/find the trolleys in real time. My wife and I (from DFW) took a round trip and found lots of interesting new stores and restaurants to consider for future outings. If you... More

We love trolleys especially when the weather is right, the sun is out and the windows can be open to take in all the sights and sounds and just feel the breeze on your face. You can catch the free trolley anywhere along its McKinney and Arts District path BUT starting out from the round-about at the DART City Place/Uptown... More

. It’s a fun free way to see downtown and Uptown. Our conductor didn’t say much but I like to study the route and decide where I want to get off and eat. We jumped off and on several times to shop, eat and got to the park. We went to West Village, Clyde Warren Park, and wondered around downtown... More

This was my experience yesterday with a very, rude operator, I wonder if the conductor you had was ZACK?

The following occurred on August 6, 2015, trolley #754, and we arrived at the Main McKinney Station, where we exited at 8:43pm, and ZACH was the conductor along with another young, male conductor:

ZACK, our VERY YOUNG, male, operator and his young male companion, who also was on the trolley that my family and I, including YOUNG CHILDREN who were visiting from out-of-town, were in fear for our lives!! This young, male, full of testosterone was speeding and honking CONSTANTLY at EVERY pedestrian and car around us. I have lived in Uptown for 13 years and have been on the trolley a few times, prior to this incident...and THIS TIME, We were in fear for our safety and for the safety of all the other passengers inside the trolley...and for all the pedestrians and surrounding cars with people. We are in the process of not only complaining to the trolley company, we are also complaining to the Transportation Division 214.670.3161, with operators like ZACK, it's just a matter of time before someone seriously GETS HURT if not KILLED!!! I've read the other complaints, and it's obvious that there's a serious problem with SOME of the conductors!!! There are no seat belts, and this young, kid ZACK was SPEEDING!! Stay away, or if you like risking the safety of your loved ones, at least make sure you and your families lives are not in the hands of a YOUNG, HOT-HEADED MALE KID!! Please complain to ALL the appropriate authorities when you have an issue with this trolley company!!! When I asked (ZACK) for his name after we decided we chose to end our ride at the FIRST NEXT STOP... ZACK was VERY RUDE, and sarcastic to me, and told me that I could complaint to anyone that I wanted to, and yelled his name at me. This is unacceptable!!
