Went downtown and rode the trolley to enjoy the beautiful city. Admired the architecture, checked out bars and restaurants along the route. Hopped on and off all afternoon. It is a free ride and a great afternoon. Convenient to parks and museums in the downtown area.

We caught the trolley after a day of walking as we wanted to see more of the city. It's free! It's also not just tourists, many locals use for transportation. The highlight is the legitimate turntable that turns the trolley around. You are free to walk around and ride the turntable as it operates!

Neat restored trolley. We visited on a Sunday afternoon. Waited 20 minutes at the stop, frustrated we tried to use the 'real-time' app but it didn't show the trolleys moving. There was standing room only halfway around the route. Possibly scheduling more cars on the weekend would keep things moving more efficiently. We didn't want to hop off in fear... More

Hop on the trolley and get a great ride through downtown and uptown. McKinney Avenue offers a wonderful slice of the Dallas urban lifestyle.

Took a ride on the trolley just to take a ride and see the area. Its FREE. Kids would love to ride it. We just did a round trip to see more of the city of Dallas. Many places along the route to stop and eat. Also stops at the art museum and a city park. Total round trip ride... More

Great day to take a ride...however Not my best experience. They did not keep to the schedule of approx every 15 minutes. In fact I got off to have lunch and they never came back in about one hour. I had to Uber back to my hotel. Lastly the conductors were cranky!

This is a really fun activity for everybody. The trolley is historical but in good shape. Sometimes you have to wait for quite a while until the next trolley comes, and on weekends or summer evenings, there can be a lot of riders. It's free and it runs all week, even on Sundays!

Just a fun way to get from several different locations in Dallas. You don't have to worry about parking your vehicle and it is much more scenic. I definitely recommend doing this, especially in the spring and fall when the weather is nicer.

Like San Francisco's Trolly, only with many miles less track. Oh, and it's flat in Dallas. But it's great for seeing/drinking in the area of McKinney.

This was my experience yesterday with a very, rude operator, I wonder if the conductor you had was ZACK?

The following occurred on August 6, 2015, trolley #754, and we arrived at the Main McKinney Station, where we exited at 8:43pm, and ZACH was the conductor along with another young, male conductor:

ZACK, our VERY YOUNG, male, operator and his young male companion, who also was on the trolley that my family and I, including YOUNG CHILDREN who were visiting from out-of-town, were in fear for our lives!! This young, male, full of testosterone was speeding and honking CONSTANTLY at EVERY pedestrian and car around us. I have lived in Uptown for 13 years and have been on the trolley a few times, prior to this incident...and THIS TIME, We were in fear for our safety and for the safety of all the other passengers inside the trolley...and for all the pedestrians and surrounding cars with people. We are in the process of not only complaining to the trolley company, we are also complaining to the Transportation Division 214.670.3161, with operators like ZACK, it's just a matter of time before someone seriously GETS HURT if not KILLED!!! I've read the other complaints, and it's obvious that there's a serious problem with SOME of the conductors!!! There are no seat belts, and this young, kid ZACK was SPEEDING!! Stay away, or if you like risking the safety of your loved ones, at least make sure you and your families lives are not in the hands of a YOUNG, HOT-HEADED MALE KID!! Please complain to ALL the appropriate authorities when you have an issue with this trolley company!!! When I asked (ZACK) for his name after we decided we chose to end our ride at the FIRST NEXT STOP... ZACK was VERY RUDE, and sarcastic to me, and told me that I could complaint to anyone that I wanted to, and yelled his name at me. This is unacceptable!!
