We've been to several shows at The Kessler, the most recent being Tommy Castro and The Painkillers. Unlike a lot of music venues where other agendas are in play, the Kessler fans are there for the music and are an appreciative, attentive audience in this intimate facility. We like the tall stools at the back that raise us above the... More

Time and time again we are amazed at the quality and depth of the acts that are booked at the Kessler. Jeff Liles seems to know EVERYONE in the music industry and gets them to Dallas for us to enjoy. We go at every opportunity.

Eclectic venue with good acoustics. You feel closer to performers. Stairs going upstairs are a little steep. Love the balcony. Great people watching.

This small unique theatre located in the Bishop Arts District hosts a variety of shows. I attended two shows and will continue to attend others. It has a bar and food service (light meal) in the front lobby with limited seating. So, if hungry and want to sit, go early as there is usually a line outside the theatre prior... More

We go here as often as we can! This is our favorite music venue in Dallas. Small, intimate, great variety of local and touring artists. Drinks are reasonable, food is good. Many excellent restaurants in the area for dinner before a concert. Get there early to park nearby!

Great place to go to see wonderful talent. The sound is phenomenal and the food is very good but a bit pricey.

I discovered this gem in the Bishop Arts district, with a little help from Asleep at the Wheel. The theater is small and intimate. It looks like it could hold about 200 people. The amps can overpower the space a bit, though. There is a bar and limited food service. There was a mix of seating that includes tables, stools,... More

The Kessler showcases many artists of all genres so watch its website for acts that appeal to you. It is a small venue and there really isn't a bad seat in the house.
