If you visit Dallas you MUST go to the Arboretum! It is beautiful & a credit to the city & all the staff & volunteers. (Also a big thank you to Rick who was the traffic guy at the main entrance... a happy/friendly employee who we rode the 60 bus back to downtown with)

The gardens were full of visitors and the Easter bunny as we attended Easter Sunday. Grounds very well maintained and flora was beautiful this time of year. Live music on the stage and plenty of opportunities for food and drink. Pathways along the routes afford plenty of benches and sitting locations. Easily accessible from downtown via a ride share and... More

Drink plenty of liquids in the summer. They do serve alcohol which is nice and not too expensive. Lots of places to sit and enjoy and rest. Plenty of walking but worth every step. Not a lot of A/C ducking in opportunities so be prepared. Kids love it water areas to play in for small children. Best is bring picnic... More

The only thing I didn't like is... More

The garden is nice, not bad design. There are a couple of restaurants in the garden which have outdoor seating. Size of the garden is good, not too big.
