No matter what time of year you visit the Arboretum, there will be plenty to see. It is considered to be one of the top 5 Arboretum's in the USA and indeed it is!!! It also has a restaurant and gift shop worth visiting. Overlooking White Rock Lake, this is a world class venue. Do not miss this one!

This place is beautiful with many places for photos. It is a little pricey with $15 parking and $15 per each adult. However, it is an experience that can feed the soul. I would count on spending at least a couple of hours. Arrive early in the day to beat the heat and the crowds. I would bring a camera... More

The gardens are OK, but charging what they do for parking is double-dipping in my opinion. Why the high cost to park? Because you have no choice but to park there. It is one thing to charge a high admission fee, but then to get you again for parking is shameful.

My family and I have been to the Dallas arboretum countless times. This year we finally purchased a membership (money well spent). For the kids, they have an entire learning area that my kids 5 & 11 really enjoy. For the adults ( kids welcome) they have Thursday night concerts. They are BYOB, watching the sunset over Dallas and across... More

Great for photo ops and relaxation. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed all the exhibits and loved the special art work displays from Zimbabwe. All the staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had.

I have been visiting the Arboretum for 20 years. It is a slice of heaven sitting right in the middle of the city. Go to relax- go to be stress free - go to enjoy the outdoors. It is also a beautiful venue to schedule a wedding, party or a nature walk with a group of friends. And if you... More

Around each turn a vista more lovely and gracious than the last. Nothing short of enchanting. A balm for both the senses and the soul.

I took my mother to the Arboretum for mother's day. The gardens are well cared for, prettily laid out, and interesting in their diversity. Sculptures and fountains abound as well. There were many photographers and photoshoots for graduations and weddings going on, which is completely unsurprising given the picturesque quality of the gardens and the visual options - from long... The Arboretum is a fabulous place to go for a walk or to go for a great outdoor concert. Kids love it. Adults love it. Now is a great time to enjoy all that it has to offer. The outdoor concerts are GREAT. Bring a meal and an adult beverage and have a picnic while enjoying some great bands.

One of the most beautiful walks you can take early in the morning. It is usually not very hot and not at all crowded at that time of day.
