Costs have gone up in the last few years, so make sure you're aware of that. There are some incredible historical buildings and locations here. The State Fair is all about Texas so come and enjoy some new food concoction.

It is a great attraction the state fair park. But is quite expensive. There are many things to do and many fried things to eat.

Although closed for the summer its worth a visit for some of the remembered movie scenes and parks. Photo opportunities at every corner.

If you're there for it, the Texas State Fair is definitely something to consider. It's big (of course), full of great exhibitions and architecture, and has some of the best midway food (meaning bad for you but amazingly tasty) you can find.
