I still remember the principal coming into our classroom crying that November morning. This is the first time I have been able to see the area, the grassy knoll, the book depository and the street. It's eye opening to see it all in one place....More

I think that they should freshen this Memorial up and show the respect that it deserves. People come here from all over the world to experience our loss.

Waited since 1963 to vist this historical site. It can be very solem when you realize what happened so many years ago, and you are standing right there. Awesome piece of history to experience!

Visited this site one morning and spent a fair bit of time wandering around. There is a simple white X on the road marking the spot where President Kennedy was murdered. I have to say I thought the site would have more gravitas. Lots of...More

History is a valuable part of life and society as a whole. Being able to take part in learning about it in person is awesome!

Visited on a Monday am and it does not open till noon. Long queues to pay and to get into the lifts after paying. Takes about two hours to see everything, hand held voice guides are great.

It's a nice and calm place to spend some time. Maybe have a seat on the benches and make plans for your next stop.

Stopped at museum and this place far exceeded my expectations. The Staff was so friendly, and the I- phones and headphones are people friendly (even for us older folks). The place was done up so greatly and when you go up to the 7th floor...More

The Memorial plaza is simply beautiful and a definite place to stop by and check out. It won't take you long to see and has a very spiritual feeling. Highly recommend visiting.

Your accurate comments were about Dealey Plaza not the JFK Memorial Plaza a block away. It is misleading to comment on the wrong thing. Please fix your post. Did you see the place you commented on because your comments about it would be welcome.

Yep I went to the JFK Memorial Plaza while waiting for my tour bus to arrive. If you know the area so well then you know the tour company. To my family and myself the JFK Memorial seamed unfinished. And as you stated it is... More

I'm looking for a hotel somewhere between Bush Center and JFK Memorial Plaza. I'd like to keep the cost to around $130 or less. Something like Fairfield Inn, Hampton Inn, Drury, etc. Where is the best place to stay to see these 2 attractions. We will have a car but really don't want to do a lot of driving in congested areas.

I honestly don't know where the nearest one will be, but considering the size of this city, you'll be able to find one.
