It is an excellent museum which you can not miss visiting when traveling to Dallas. It's an art collection one does not expect to see in Dallas. It has pieces of art from artists from all over the world.

We did not have a lot of time. I focused on the European art and quite liked the cross-section in the collection (notably the Picasso's, Gris', Mondriaan's, Monet's). Also loved the small section on (self)portraits in pencil. Museum also contains a small section on 'contemporary...More

I took my father to the Mexico 1900-1950 Exhibit in June, 2017. The exhibit was wonderful...we spent several hours there and did not even get to see the permenant exhibits! Would like to go back and explore more!

The museum staff were patient and very nice coping with such large crowds. Beautiful art and a huge space.

Special viewing(s) made this night very crowded for the museum. Staff was, very, ill-informed & uninterested in helping. Cafeteria was out of every food item except chips-very disappointing:( super clean and well maintained building though. Paintings and sculptures were easy to view.

The museum is free, but not really free, and any exhibits that's there you have to pay to go see. The parking is $12 and you can park all day, but easier to pay $3.50 to park on the street for 2 hours because you'll...More

The DMA is not that large of a museum but is definitely worth a visit if you are downtown. The general exhibitions are free and if you want to see the special exhibits it will cost $16 for an adult. I am guessing about 30-40%...More

I'm sorry, but I really don't know the answer to that but they are very helpful so I would think if you call the museum they could let you know. :)
