I was impressed by the lines even before it opened at 10:00 AM. The audio tour was informative. The timed entrance was smooth for us as we had pre purchased our tickets. Those who did not pre purchase had an extra 3 hour wait. In...More

I thought I wanted to see this. I approached it like any tourist site. Something to mark off my list. Even walking up to the building I became overcome with sadness. This wasn’t the worlds biggest ball of twine. This is a place where events...More

We were in Dallas and went to the Visitor Center, not realizing how close we were to the actually events that took place in November 1963. The host pointed out where to get our trolley tickets, never said a word about the area, except the...More

There is a lot more to the location than just the museum. There is the actual location JFK was shot as well as the JFK memorial nearby. The museum itself is exceptionally well done. It is more than just a museum but also a commentary...More

Go early or weekday. Only ting that matters is 6th floor window. Gets crowded and moves slow. Much more to see outdoors and it's free.

My husband and I are not big history or museum people and decided to check this out last minute. We both LOVED it and will do it again if ever in Dallas area again. Well worth the money and wait if they are busy.

I'm not sure about that - I have only ever parked my car in the lot next to the museum. I would call the museum directly & ask them where to park. 214-747-6660

The 30 minute time slots are for entry. Once you're in you can stay as long as you want. We were there at least 2 hours. There's a lot of reading and photos of the time to view. It's really worth the visit. Hope this answers... More
