Amazing loooong beach! When we went it was out of summer season and there was no one at the beach, it was windy but it was perfect for a walk, we got great pictures, enjoyed a run on the beach and after went to the cafe there that was still opened. It’s very peaceful (again, out of season).

Stunning area to walk. The lagoon was great to watch the wild life. Friendly good beach bar. Miles of beautiful beach. Sadly sea was too cold for us and quite strong the day we visited. Would definitely go back.

Sands were clean and so was the water.

Can get a bit crowded right at the entrance/closer to the parking lot.

Relax and have lunch at the beachfront cafe - great burgers, cold beer. Beach is one of the cleanest I've been on in Portugal.

We took a picnic lunch and went to this long, unspoiled beach. Almost no one else was there. It was wild and beautiful. We loved it. We heard from someone that this is part of the longest stretch of sand beach in the country, and that it runs many, many untamed miles. The part we saw was clean, empty (it was Christmas Day), and gorgeous.

We went here with our 2 year old son. He liked running away for the waves and playing in the lagoon. Lots of animals in the lagoon. For swimming the lagoon of st andre is better.

The beach was OK, if a little windy. The car parking here is free, unlike some other nearby beaches, but the parking area and the surrounding properties are very rundown and there seemed to be people wild camping there and they were untidy.

A good lagoon for bird watching.

Very beautiful beach and great water quality, it was a shame on the day I was there that there was a lot of algae, but nothing that affected its quality! The landscape is wonderful...!!!
